He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Smyth and Sarah Smyth; and his sister Noreen Hennessy. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his daughters, Kelly and Jennifer; and his brothers, Thomas Smyth (Clare) and Martin Smyth (Eileen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
