It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Farlekas of Ewing Township, New Jersey, who passed away on August 28, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Farlekas (Betty); his siblings, James Farlekas, Barbara Farlekas and Evon Farlekas; his daughter-in-law Roxanne Farlekas; his nephew Peter Keeler; and his parents, Mary Farlekas (Drapania) and Michael Farlekas.
He is survived by: his children, Noradeen (Don Morrison), Denise (Gary Fornia), Michael (Regina) and Peter (Tara Redmond); his grandchildren, Olivia, Alexandra, Isabella, Gabrielle, Mia, Sophia, Peter and Jack; and his sibling's children, Lori Serven, John Salvato and Michael Salvato.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in George's honor to the Elizabeth Farlekas Memorial Scholarship at the University of Scranton.
