Burke of Ewing Township, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 12, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Burke of Elphin and Daphne J. (Comey) of Bailieborough; his wife Judith M. (Cunningham); his brother John J.; his sister-in-law Sue Burke of Chapel Hill, NC; his sister Patricia A.; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Lyons of Belmar, NJ, Jerome, MaryAnn St. John and Little.
He is survived by: his sister Mary E. Dunn; and his brother-in-law Frank Dunn of Belmar. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and other dear relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the M. William Murphy Funeral Directors-Ewing (935 Parkway Ave, Ewing Township, NJ 08618). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Good Counsel Church (137 W Upper Ferry Rd, Ewing Township, NJ 08628).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Nick's memory may be made to Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.
