He was predeceased by: his wife Susan DelVecchio Powell; his parents, Frank Powell and Christina Powell; his siblings, Mike Powell, Sandi DeHart and Jo Neer; and his in-laws, Antoinette, James DelVecchio, David Metz, Angela, Jack Oakley and John Seckinger.

He is survived by: his daughter Diana Lynn Lambert; his grandchildren, Jessalyn Abbott (Rigo), Ryan Abbott (Linda) and Ethan Lambert; his great grandchild Harper; his sisters, Carolyn Metz and Jeanne Reese; his sister-in-law Josephine Seckinger; and his friend Marianne Picerno. He is also survived by his family, friends.
