She was predeceased by: her parents, Makary Cierniak and Magdalena Cierniak; her husband Chester Chmara; her son Edward Chmara; her siblings, John, Mary Cierniak, Frank, Janina and Stanislaw Woznicka; and her siblings-in-law, Regina Chmara, Gene Wojciechowski, Van Chmara, Henry Talarsky, Janina and Lech Proszynski.
She is survived by: the mother of her child Theresa Chmara (Patrick Slevin); her daughter Halina Chmara (Robert Russo); her grandchildren, Angela Chmara Slevin Gallivan (Timothy Gallivan), Claire Chmara Slevin, Eddie Chmara and Amanda Russo (John); her children, Jacob and Cora; her sister Anna Kobos; and her siblings-in-law, Stanislaw Kobos, Mary Wojciechoswki, Donna Chmara and Roseanne Chmara. She is also survived by her family, friends, and neighbors.
