David Spencer Mernick Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Spencer Mernick in Fair Haven, New Jersey, who passed away on May 9, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Mernick and Edith Mernick of Cranford; his wife Cynthia Halsey Mernick of Oceanport; his daughter Elizabeth Ann Mernick of Oceanport; his wife's children, Brooke, Amanda and Casey Blinebry; his brother Andrew (Judith Mernick) of Monmouth Beach; his father-in-law Sandy Halsey of Bluffton, SC; his siblings-in-law, Ann (Stuart Burlingham) of Savannah, GA and David (Katie Halsey) of Edgartown, MA; and also Robyn Mernick. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Lake Winnipesaukee Alliance, PO Box 1624, Meredith, NH 03253 who are dedicated to keeping his lake healthy for generations to come.
