He is survived by: his father Everett Strasser; his wife Kyle Strasser; his daughter Cara Chester (Matthew Chester); his grandsons, Preston Joseph Chester and Grant Everett Chester; his brother Lee Strasser (Susan); his niece Erika (Mac); and his nephew Jared (Adriana).

Memorial donations may be made to the Animal Humane Society in honor of Jed's lifelong love of animals.
