“Dear Munroe cousins, I just learned of the death of Marty James (Martin in later years). We were talking about all the time he spent at our house when finishing up at Notre Dame High School in Park Ridge before joining his family in Ridgewood. Many a night was spent laughing downstairs trying not to wake up my folks when he and my sister came home with Patty-O after partying. I spent days with his family in Ridgewood when in New York. His dad, my godfather, sang Irish music with me. Bye, Marty”
