She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Capozzi; and her parents, Michael Giamongo and Shirley Giamongo (Hollenbeck). She is survived by: her children, Brian Capozzi (Jaclynn) and Kristin Detamore (Thomas); and her close friend Robert Cubby. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
