We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2025, at the age of 85, Pedro Alfonzo Mendez (Fair Lawn, New Jersey) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, José Méndez-Alfonzo and Josefina Méndez-Alfonzo. He is survived by: his wife Gladys Alfonzo; his children, Pedro Alfonzo Jr., Damaris Ensuncho and Aracelis Parra; his grandsons, Daniel, Nelson, Marcus, Jonathan, Winston Jr. and Justin; and his great grandchild Ezra.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Colonial Home (13-31 Saddle River Rd, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
