With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Yervant Kupelian (Fair Lawn, New Jersey), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Yervant left this world on July 18, 2025 at the age of 73, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Yervant may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He is survived by: his wife Hasmig Kupelian; his children, Talar Kupelian, Nerses Kupelian and Nyree Kupelian; and his siblings, Shahe Kupelian (Patty) and Annie Berazouge (Mohamed).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Leon Armenian Church (12-61 Saddle River Rd, Fair Lawn, NJ 07410). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM. A burial will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at the George Washington Memorial Park (234 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Leon Armenian Church.
