With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Jean Wilson of Fairfield, New Jersey, who passed away on March 27, 2026 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Delphin Ferrell and Mildred Tucker Ferrell; her husband Ray Willard Wilson; her siblings, Harold O. Ferrell, Herbert Lee Ferrell, Deloris Blankenship, Margaret Williams, Wanda Ferrell and Ella Sue Ferrell; and her grandchildren, Johnnie Wilson, Jr. and Amber Nichole.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Simpkins (Robert) of Millville, Joyce Taylor (Walter) of Fairfield Twp and Johnnie Ray Wilson (Christine) of Cedarville; her granddaughter Bobbi Jo Swain of Millville; her brother John Ralph Ferrell of Charlston, WV; her great grandchildren, Aidan, Jared, Raylynn and Johnnie, III; her great great grandchildren, Paisley and Novalee; and her close friend Arbutus Risko.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations can be made to Fairton Christian Center or the Cedarville Fire Company.
