He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Barra; and his siblings, Ralph and Donnie Barra. He is survived by: his wife Arleen Dorothy; his son Robert Barra (Laura); and his grandchildren, Amanda, Anthony and Christopher "CJ" Barra.
Louis was an active member of the Nutley Old Guard and the Columbus Association, and his contributions to these organizations will be fondly remembered.
