She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Fritz and Gretchen Fritz; her husband Gil Thompson; her siblings, Peggy Shire, Patsy Humphries and Clarence "Burt" Fritz; and her grandson Daniel Thompson.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Thompson (Marilyn), Barbara Vierschilling (Jimmy) and Randi Thompson (Chris Reid); her grandchildren, Tom Vierschilling (Jessica), Scott Vierschilling (Rachel), Dawn Vierschilling, Lindsey Hover and Brad Thompson-Moreland; and her great grandchildren, Henry, Cottler Vierschilling, Alexa, Riley Vierschilling, Casey, Paul, Quinn Heintz and Alexis Hamilton. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
