He was predeceased by: his wife Anne; and his brothers, Irving and Meyer Piltzer. He is survived by: his sons, Gerald Piltzer (Julie) and Jason Piltzer; his grandchildren, Amanda, Daniel and Jenna; his great grandchild Graham; and his close friend Judith Peck.
