He was predeceased by: his brother Paul; and his parents, Salvatore Scavuzzo and Francina Scavuzzo. He is survived by: his sister Mary Ellen Horner; his sister-in-law Helen Scavuzzo; and his nieces and nephews, Jim Lenskold, Judy Tencza, Pete Lenskold, Paul Lenskold, Joanne Mason, Paul Scavuzzo, David Scavuzzo and Ellen Thomas.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home (155 South Ave, Fanwood, NJ 07023). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph RC Church North Plainfield (38-48 Jackson Ave, North Plainfield, NJ 07060). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at the Holy Redeemer Cemetery (1734 Clinton Ave, South Plainfield, NJ 07080).
