He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Bonas Milteer; and his brothers, Edward and Claude. He is survived by: his sister Dr. Shirley Roberts; his children, Linda, Michael (Marilynda), Karen (Greg) and Diane; and his grandchildren, Alexandra, Joseph, Kiyah, Gregory and Joshua (Amanda).
