Robert Counterman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Counterman of Fanwood, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 23, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Robert departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Robert leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Counterman and Emily Counterman (Brandall). He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Hill; his siblings, David Counterman (Judy) of Orlando, FL and Debbie Wenk (Chris); and his siblings-in-law, Jackie Hill of Fanwood, NJ and John HIll (Joanne).
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home (155 South Ave, Fanwood, NJ 07023).
