She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Sr. Wortmann and Marie Backhaus Wortmann; her husband Ronald H. Melick; her daughter Nancy J. Melick; and her siblings, Louise Alpaugh, Albert Wortmann, Margaret Murray and Marie Wortmann.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert A. Melick of Far Hills and David R. Melick of Far Hills; her granddaughter Alexandria "Allie" Monzon (Mauricio) of Stirling; and her great grandchildren, Nancy, Jasmine and Bradley.
