She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Cordray and Pauline Cordray; her siblings, Otto "Bud", John and Ruby Cordray; her son John D. Bammel; and her significant other Shiu Tzu.
She is survived by: her husband First Lieutenant; her children, Herbert A. Bammel, Jr. (Laura) of Huntersville, NC and Elizabeth M. Bammel-McLaughlin (Christopher) of Point Pleasant, NJ; her stepdaughter Joanne Pratt of Florida; and her sisters, Faye Ilene Cordray of San Antonio, TX and Sarah L. Carter (Bobby) of Kemp, TX. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
