She was predeceased by: her parents, Jason Fuhr and Bertha Fuhr (Weaver); her former husband Samuel Housel; her husband Joseph Gessner; her son Donald Housel; and her siblings, Donald Fuhr, Ruth Weibel and Mary Weasner.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Davy (Frank) of Hillsboro, David Housel (Lorraine) of Slatington, Pennsylvania and Steven Housel (Dory) of Mount Bethel, Pennsylvania.; her sister Jean Anderson; and her sister-in-law Irma Fuhr of Lambertville, NJ. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
