The passing of Daniel J. Mele of Flemington, New Jersey leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 24, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mele and Mary Mele. He is survived by: his children, Christian Mele (Karen), Richard Mele (Amy) and Elizabeth Mele Osvald (Martin); his grandchildren, Margaret, Mary, Kathryn, George, Julianna, Rocco Mele, Jack and Emily Osvald; and his siblings, Joseph, Robert Mele and Marianne Moy.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home (103 Old Hwy 28, Whitehouse Station, NJ 08889). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Church (390 County Road #523, Whitehouse Station, NJ 08889).
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, an organization that Dan and his wife Sue continue to support for many years or the Alzheimer's Association, in support of finding a cure.
