With sadness, we share the passing of Douglas Edward Barnes in Flemington, New Jersey. Douglas, born on September 17, 1963, passed away on August 17, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernice Mae Raymond and Richard H. Barnes; his brother James W. Diggs; and his niece Elizabeth L. Rivera. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl A. Barnes; his sons, Brandon Lee Ferry and James Barnes; his sisters, Grace Mae Zavatsky, Della Sandra Barnes, Carol Ann Barnes and Helen Alice Conklin-Barnes; and his nieces and nephews, Tina L. Baratta, Katrina G. Vallardares, Stella A. Gutierrez, Talia M. Williams, Carolisa E. Rivera, Dave M. Bally and Guillermo A. Hurtado. He is also survived by many extended family members; and several dear friends.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Herman Kapp Building in the Community Room (62 Church St, Flemington, NJ 08822).
