He was predeceased by: his parents, Genowefa Szostek and Walter Szostek; and his wife Elizabeth Szostek. He is survived by: his children, Robert (Erica Szostek) of Saunderstown, RI and Kristina (Steven Migliore) of Flemington, NJ; his siblings, Andrew Szostek of Oakley, CA, John (Marissa Szostek), Stella Szostek of Oakley, CA and Grace (Scott Bierman); and his grandchildren, Chelsea, Harrison, Melina and Alaina.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Branchburg Funeral Home (910 US-202, Branchburg, NJ 08876). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Casimir's R. C. Church (91 Pulaski St, Newark, NJ 07105).
