He was predeceased by : his parents, Arthur Anderson and Margaret Anderson; his wife Molly (Layeski); and his brother Lawrence. He is survived by : his children, Sharlotte and John D. Anderson, Jr. (Susan); his grandchildren, Brittany, Madison, Erica, Jaclyn, Mason, Rachel and Blake; his great grandchildren, Alexandra, Isabella and Arianna; and his brothers, Arthur, William (Betty) and Joseph (Laura).

In lieu of flowers, contributions in his honor and memory may be made to the Croton Rod and Gun Club, 31 Rake Factory Road, Flemington NJ 08822, which is a hunting club in Raritan Township, NJ.
