With sadness, we share the passing of Lewis Permahos in Flemington, New Jersey. Lewis, born on December 18, 1933 in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on September 17, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lewis Permahos to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Permahos and Anna Permahos; and his wife Eleanor Permahos. He is survived by: his daughter Dineen; his son-in-law Todd Gruchacz of Stockton; Teddy, Daniel (Taylor), Harper Layne, Bonnie (Daniel), Jon, Brooke, T. J. (Bella) and Todd III. He is also survived by his six grandchildren (and their spouses.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home (147 Main St, Flemington, NJ 08822). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton RC Church (105 Summer Rd, Three Bridges, NJ 08887). The military honors will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:45 AM at the St. Magdalen Cemetery (86 N Main St, Flemington, NJ 08822).
