Marvin Robert Salerno Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marvin Robert Salerno (Flemington, New Jersey), born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Marvin Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marvin Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Anne Salerno (Bobby). He is survived by: his brother Marlin Salerno of Scranton, PA; and his in-laws, Allen, Linda Timko, James, Mary Passerello, John and Eileen Timko. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews including twin grand nieces.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home (147 Main St, Flemington, NJ 08822). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Victories Parish (1005 County Road 519, Frenchtown, NJ 08825). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Magdalen Cemetery (86 N Main St, Flemington, NJ 08822).
