He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Bowlby and Lillis Bowlby (Somerville); his wife Cathy Bowlby; and his sister Beverly Jean Maksymovich. He is survived by: his children, Laura Peifer (Jason), Vanessa Bachert, John Autenrieth (Doris) and Ralph Bowlby, Jr.; his grandchildren, Sara Peifer, Nicholas Peifer, Jody Autenrieth, Jack Autenrieth, Ashley Bachert and Zachery Bachert; his great grandchildren, Isabella and Emery; his brothers, Robert Bowlby (Maria), William Bowlby (Mary Ellen) and Ronald Bowlby (Kathy); and his brother-in-law William Maksymovich.
