He is survived by: his wife Elaine Cook; his children, Tom Patania of Pompton Lakes, NJ, Denise Crosta (Stephen) of Livingston, NJ and Lance Patania (Maria) of Ramsey, NJ; his brother Anthony Patania (Elaine) of Collegeville, PA.; his grandchildren, Tommy, Allison Patania, Lexi Patania, Kelli, Lauren Crosta, Dominic and Angelina Patania; his great grandchild Olivia Patania; his stepchildren, Tracie, Steve Toke, Jamie and George Mayer; his stepgrandchildren, Natalie, Drew Crawford, Matt, Leah Toke, Brian, Jordyn Mayer, Julia Mayer and Daren Mayer; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Brynn Toke and Asher Mayer. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sheenan Funeral Home (233 Dunellen Ave, Dunellen, NJ 08812). A reception was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Episcopal Church (400 New Market Rd, Dunellen, NJ 08812).
