With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Lester Smith (Florence, New Jersey), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Smith and John William Smith. He is survived by: his siblings, John "Jack" Smith (Karen) of Florence, NJ, Daniel Smith (Sherry) of Avalon, NJ and Jean Shelen (Jack) of Roebling, NJ.; his nephew John Smith (Jennifer); and his godson Nicholas Yurcho. He is also survived by several great-nieces, nephews, and cousins.
