The family announces the passing of Richard James Mullen of Florence, New Jersey on October 14, 2026. Richard, born on March 20, 1940, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Mullen (Wonderlin) and Thomas Mullen; his sister Mary Roberta "Bobbie"; his brother-in-law Eugene Barnes; his brothers, Maurice Parker (Jean Mullen) and Michael Mullen; and his siblings-in-law, William Bihlear, Tony Stefanoni and Pat Cicero.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon "Nancy" Mullen; his children, Keith Mullen and Colleen Aracri (Frank); and his siblings, Catherine Bihlear, Louise Stefanoni, William Mullen and Lee Cicero. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM and on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Koschek-Mancuso Funeral Home (1115 Hornberger Ave, Roebling, NJ 08554). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:20 AM at the Holy Assumption Catholic Church (1290 Hornberger Ave, Roebling, NJ 08554). The inurnment will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calvary - St. Clare's Cemetery (200-398 E 9th St, Florence, NJ 08518).
