He was predeceased by: his father Robert J. Sobon; his father-in-law Richard Lane; and his stepfather-in-law Lou Giordano. He is survived by: his wife Kelly; his sons, Robert John and Zachary Richard; his mother Mary Sobon; his siblings, Juliane Claxton and Michael Sobon; his aunt Cathy Trapani; his mother-in-law Theresa Giordano; and his sister-in-law Heather Edginton (Robert). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
One of Robert's favorite "gadgets" was a RAD Power bike, which he purchased during COVID.
