She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna M. Wilson (Kelty) and Ernest Wilson; her husband Robert T. Coates; her sons, Robert E. Coates and Lawrence J. Coates; her siblings, Patricia Beebe, Ernest "Bud" and John Wilson; and her brothers-in-law, Loren Jones and George Rooney.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathleen Coates (Frank Dwyer); her sister Barbara Rooney; her grandchildren, Tiffany Hathaway (Fred), Lauren, Lindsey Coates, Marty Tulala (Sondra) and Cassie Tulala; her great grandchildren, Ryan, Carly Hathaway and Lillianna Coates; her daughters-in-law, MaryAnn Coates and Josie Hegarty (Rich); her sisters-in-law, Doris Jones and Sandra Swann; and her son-in-law Richard Bugyi. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
