In the sacred silence of farewell, Catherine is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Catherine's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Tino Parlavecchio; her stepchildren, Alice Parlavecchio and Ludwig Parlavecchio; and her parents, Gieuslell Pilla and Mary Pilla.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph C. Parlavecchio (Alyson) and Gerald J. Guarino (JoEllen). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Catherine's name to The National Shrine of St. Gerard at St. Lucy's Church, 118 Seventh Avenue (Ruggiero Plaza), Newark, NJ 07104.
