She was predeceased by: her husband Vincent C. Smith; her sisters, Lillian and Jean; her son-in-law Wilbur "Butch" Conway; and her parents, John Garrett and Lillian Garrett.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel Smith (Jacqueline), Mark Smith (Pam), Diana Bossard (Eric), Theresa Smith, Lynn Conway and Patricia Lowe. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
