She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred E. Oakes; her parents, Carmen Anthony and Isabella Colantuoni; and her siblings, Anthony, Raymond and Carol Johnstone.
She is survived by: her children, Alfred E. Oakes III (Paula), Patrice Cunningham (Randy) and Brian C. Oakes (Carol); her grandchildren, Brittany and Christopher Oakes; and her sister Beatrice Tekin.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Leonardis Memorial Home, Inc. (210 Ridgedale Ave, Florham Park, NJ 07932). A burial was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (225 Ridgedale Ave, East Hanover, NJ 07936).
