With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janice Eckert of Florham Park, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 9, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Michael; and her parents, Norman Sherman and Alfreda Sherman. She is survived by: her husband Peter Eckert; her sons, Daniel Eckert (Brittani), Joseph Eckert (Aida) and Steven Eckert (Shirley); her brother Kenneth Sherman; and her grandchildren, Nathan, Madelyn and Julian. She is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Janice's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
