He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas McElgunn and Bridget McElgunn; his wife Marie McElgunn; his children, John McElgunn (Pam), Michael McElgunn (Karen), Theresa Hinton (Todd), Nora Leydon (Dan) and Jim McElgunn (Amy); and his grandchildren, Kevin, Katie, Paul, Tommy, Matthew, Mark, Brian, Connor, Kaleigh, Amanda, Courtney, Shawn, Shannon, Jack and Ryan.
