It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Carbone of Fords, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on July 29, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Siegel Carbone; his parents, Albert Carbone and Jane Carbone; and his stepson-in-law Richard Rhodes. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Arlene Rhodes of Fords; his daughters, Christine Carbone and Janet Thomas (Mark); his grandchildren, Matthew Rhodes (Sarah), Stephen, Renee, Brooke, Tanya, Shelby, Blaire and Tess; his great grandchildren, Archer Rhodes, Riley Jane Thomas, Charlotte Grace Thomas, Juliana, James Thomas, Sage Robin Thomas and Ember Daisy Thomas; and his sister Beverly Carbone.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mitruska Funeral Home (23 Ford Ave, Fords, NJ 08863). A prayer will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 7:30 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 8:00 PM at the same location.
