Topping of Forked River, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on May 22, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Bert farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his children, Karen Topping and Jeff Topping (Nicole Baldelli); and his brother Wesley (Kay).
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Riggs Funeral Home (130 N Main St, Lanoka Harbor, NJ 08731). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X RC Church (300 Lacey Rd, Forked River, NJ 08731).
