He was predeceased by: his parents, James Smith and Doris Smith; his sister Phyliss "Jackie" DellaPietro; and his nephew Michael. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Lizzie" Smith; his children, Kevin Smith (Dawn) of Forked River, NJ, Kathy Snowden of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Timothy Smith (Melissa) of Waretown, NJ, Robert Sumner (Kristine) of Toms River, NJ, Stefanie Flaherty (Scott) of Forked River, NJ and Jessica Krug (Tony) of West Creek, NJ.; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Colin and Carson; his brother Richard Smith (Lucy); his brother-in-law Mark Jezierski (Rebecca); and his sibling's children, Billy, Denise, Sam, Steve and Sadie.
