We are sad to announce that on September 1, 2025, at the age of 83, George Mackres of Forked River, New Jersey passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Mackres to pay them a last tribute.
Though George may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those George touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his wife Aphrodite; his children, Faye Roeber (George Atis), Yianna Kaplanidis (John), Angela Martin (Spyro) and Nick Mackres (Politimi); and his family George. He is also survived by his nephews, nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Aphrodite Mackres, who will donate half to the village church in Argoliko, Greece, and the other half to an orphanage in Greece.
