She was predeceased by: her son Mark. She is survived by: her children, Scott Smedile (Sandy) and Jill Brewster (Bob); her grandchildren, Abbie, Holly, Dale, Charles, Scott Jr., Johnathan and Lyndsay; and her brother Butch Woodworth. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
A memorial gathering was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Ocean County Memorial Park-Waretown (280 Wells Mills Rd, Waretown, NJ 08758).
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for contributions to be made to St. Jude Children's Research hospital in Marlene's Name.
