Albert Palzer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Palzer of Fort Lee, New Jersey, born in Englewood, New Jersey, who passed away on October 15, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Palzer, Sr. and Agnes Palzer (Miko). He is survived by: his wife Joanie; his children, Lori Eilers (Tom) of Ramsey, NJ, Jaime Antifonario (Carl) of Tenafly, NJ and Albert "AJ" Palzer IV of Cliffside Park, NJ; and his grandchildren, Kendall, Rebecca of Ava, CJ and Laila.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Al's name.

“I worked as the 8th grade ELA teacher at Upper School and often got a chance to talk to Al. I retired last June. Al and I shared many ideas. He researched his relatives and wrote about his family, asking me to edit many pages of his stories. Al was a wonderful writer, engaging person, and lovely man. May God bless your family and give you strength during this time. He will surely be missed by many at Upper School who had the pleasure of getting to know him as I was fortunate to do. Susan McKay”
