She was predeceased by: her brothers, James Thomas Deering and Roland Lee Deering; her grandparents, Chester, Ola Mae Glass Jones, James and Sallie Deering; her aunts and uncles, Helen Rynecki, Josephine Wilburn, Nannie Belle Jones, Wilma Hughes, Nellie Mae Jones, Elisha Chester and Sterling Hughes; and her brother Douglas Nathan Deering.
She is survived by: her son Jamal Mashburn; her grandchildren, Taylor and Jamal Jr.; her significant other Dave Minton; her sisters, Marion Wilma McClary, Ola Yvonne Hamilton and Florine Diane Williams (Lee); and her sister-in-law Pamela Deering. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
