She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Tomasina Checo and Bellarmino Checo; her husband Luis R. Madera; her children, Teresa Madera Gonzalez (Tony), Luisa Navarro (Carlos) and Luis Robert Madera (Kelly); her siblings, Ramona, Carmen, Lourdes, Celida, Maria, Celina, Antonio, Rafael, Luis and Marcelo; and her grandchildren, Justin, Brandon, Gabriella, Nico and Maddy.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Costa Memorial (170 Central Ave, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ 07604). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 9:00 AM and at 10:00 AM. An entombment was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at the Westwood Cemetery (23 Kinderkamack Rd, Emerson, NJ 07675).
