He was predeceased by : his father Angelo Bavaro. He is survived by : his mother Raffaella Bavaro; his wife Francesca Bavaro; his children, Raffaella Bavaro, Anna Bavaro Marzello and Angelo Bavaro; his grandson Vincenzo Giuseppe Marzello; and his sisters, Consiglia Ruffa, Carmela Lopreiato and Nicoletta Cavalieri.

A funeral Mass was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Madonna R. C. Church (2070 Hoefleys Ln, Fort Lee, NJ 07024). An entombment was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
