With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Farrell Jr. (Franklin Lakes, New Jersey), born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 4, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Farrell and Marie Farrell (Gercke); and his sisters, Marie Schneider, Genevieve Black, Ruth Cavanaugh, Kay Zebedies, Helen Ferguson and Betty Ann Kuestner.

He is survived by: his wife Midori Farrell (Iizuka); his children, Edward Farrell III (Laura) of Montclair, NJ and Marie Farrell Coleman (Michael) of Falls Church; and his grandchildren, Nathan, Nikki, Caitie Farrell, Emma and Gus Coleman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ed's memory to the Most Blessed Sacrament RC Church, or to the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration at http://www.theaftd.org.
