He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Koster Sr. and Sarah "Saartje" Koster; his wife Mary Ann Koster; and his sisters, Jennie "Jantje" Boer and Evelyn Hoogmoed.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Tetla (John) of Midland Park and Janet Hoogerheyde (Robert) of Wyckoff; his grandchildren, Kelly Batistic (Jack), Stacey Polk (Tristan) and Jennifer Tetla; and his sister-in-law Gertrude Bergen of The Villages, FL. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
