She was predeceased by: her parents, George (Yolanda Hughes) and NJ. She is survived by: her granddaughter Shelby Tortorello; her daughter Joan Wolff; and her son-in-law Bruce Wolff.

In honor of Joan's memory and her lifelong compassion for animals, the family requests that donations be made to Ramapo Bergen Animal Refuge in lieu of flowers.
